Service kits
Sell sets of parts as one: service kits, seal kits, recommended spares. A kit has its own part number, price and store id, and shows in every catalog that has its parts.
Set up a kit#
- In the console, open Kits and choose Add kit.
- Give it a part number and a name, and optionally a description.
- List its parts, one per line: the part number, then a comma and the quantity if it’s more than one.
W15-403 W15-404B, 2 HW-58-W, 4 - Save kits.
- Put the kit’s part number on your price list with its price, stock and, for add to cart, its store id.
The console points out part numbers that aren’t in any catalog or on the price list, and kits that aren’t on the price list yet.
Where kits show#
A kit shows in every catalog that contains at least one of its parts. To limit it, open Show only in some catalogs under the kit and tick the ones it belongs to.
In the catalog, kits are listed above the bill of materials. Choosing one shows its price, stock and contents, and picks its parts out in the model. A part’s details also say which kits it’s in. Kits are found by the parts portal’s search too, by their part number, name or any part in them.
Ordering a kit#
A kit goes into a parts request, a dealer order or your store’s cart as one line, under the kit’s part number. Dealers get their price for the kit from the price list’s Dealer price column, or the list price less their discount.
A kit’s price is the one on the price list, not the sum of its parts, so you set what you sell it for.
