Dealers

Invite your dealers to the parts portal. They sign in, see their own prices, and order with a PO number; you confirm and ship from the console.

Dealers are on the Catalog and Integrated plans. They use the same parts portal as everyone else, signed in.

Invite a dealer#

1. In the console, Dealers → Invite dealer: their company, name, email and discount.
2. They get an email with a link to set a password on the parts portal.
3. Signed in, they see their prices on every part and can order.

To change a dealer’s discount, or send them a new link, use the Dealers tab.

Dealer prices#

A dealer’s price for a part is, in order:

1. The Dealer price column of your price list, if the part has one.
2. Otherwise the list price less their discount (up to 90%).

Dealer prices are worked out on the server for the signed-in dealer. They’re never sent to public pages.

Orders#

Dealers order from the request tab with a PO number, ship-to address and notes. The order is priced on the server and arrives under Dealer orders, by email and by webhook ("type": "dealer-order"). The dealer gets a copy.

Open an order to set its status (New, Confirmed, Shipped, Cancelled). You can change any line’s price before confirming, and lines without a price are marked for you to price. With Email the dealer when it’s confirmed or shipped ticked, they hear about it. The To do filter shows new and confirmed orders.

Dealers see their orders under Your orders in the portal. Order again opens the catalog with the same parts and quantities already in a new order, at today’s prices.
